Cassio Audi was a member of the heavy metal band known as Viper. It was formed in 1985 in Sao Paulo when all the band members were mere teenagers. He partnered with Felipe Machad and Yves Passarell who played guitar. Pit Passarell was the bass player and Andre Matos the lead singer of the group. Cassio Audi was the drummer of the band. Viper released a few demos for their music to show people what the group was all about. The demos were instrumental in knowing where to improve before releasing their first album. Their first demo was a mix of the 1970’s and 1980’s style of music and was referred to as The Killera Sword. This was considered a step in the right direction. Another demo people got to hear was Projecto SP Metal. They then released their first album which was ‘Soldiers of Sunrise’.
Heavy metal was a genre that was not widely heard in Brazil. It had just begun doing well in South America. The members of the band were inspired by Iron Maiden which is a British band that handles the same kind of music. They still decided to pursue heavy metal music despite the fact that it was new to the Brazilian market. The skills of Cassio Audi are showcased in their debut album. Through this he was able to make a name for himself. A number of musical styles were used and this is because of the time demand the band faced. These different styles made their music sound even more divine. Recording the album required the band members to put in a lot of time. Despite challenges faced the group worked hard and were able to produce something amazing. After a while Cassio Audi decided to leave Viper and focus on other areas of his life. This was before the release of their second album. He had been in the music industry for a total of four years.
